Professional Development: Leadership training specifically for nonprofits from MCN

Leaders in the nonprofit sector are called upon every day to engage, inspire and motivate communities to enhance the public good. This requires smart leaders - and smart leadership training - distinct from that of business and government. MCN's Nonprofit Leadership Institutes - tailored to fit the needs of leaders wherever you are on your career path - will move you to the next level of nonprofit leadership understanding and engagement.

Have you ever wanted to:

  • Meet regularly, and build deep relationships, with your peers in order to explore the unique challenges and opportunities inherent in being a nonprofit leader?
  • Be challenged to think analytically about complex nonprofit leadership issues, from strategic communications to community engagement to financial sustainability?
  • Feel more inspired as a nonprofit leader?
  • Have time to reflect on your nonprofit leadership path, and that of your organization?

If so, MCN's Nonprofit Leadership Institute is for you!

For eight months, your cohort of no more than 25 leaders from across the nonprofit sector will gather for a full day, covering topics ranging from setting leadership goals to gaining power and influence. During your experience you will draw on the expertise of the faculty, guest speakers and that of each other. Read more about the 2009 Nonprofit Leadership Institutes.

You are invited to attend a free informational session about the Leadership Institutes, where you'll meet with faculty and hear from past participants. Dates, times, and locations include:

I look forward to seeing you at one of these sessions soon!

Regards,

Nicole

P.S. The Leadership Institute has two cohorts - one for senior managers and the other for strategic connectors. Help grow your organization's leaders by passing this email along to a colleague, peer, supervisee or anyone else seeking to grow in the nonprofit sector.
